Advancing Women's Health and Ger Equality: A 25-Year Reflection and Future Pathway

Introduction:

The Beijing Declaration and Platform for Action on Women, adopted in 1995, set the stage for global policy frameworks to advocate for women's rights, promote ger equality, and advance women's health worldwide. This landmark document recognized that ger discrimination, bias, and inequality are foundational barriers to women's well-being and health outcomes. Over the subsequent quarter-century, significant strides have been made in several areas related to women’s welfare, yet the fight agnst ger inequalities persists. Emerging threats to women’s health, such as the COVID-19 pandemic, highlight ongoing challenges that require innovative strategies and collaborative efforts.

Objective:

This collection provide a comprehensive perspective on advancing women's health and ger equality, leveraging insights from successes, challenges, and evidence-based practices over the past 25 years. It also addresses new and emerging threats to women’s health, advocating for transformative change through real-world solutions that prioritize women’s rights now and in the future.
